History of Galilee Export
Galilee Export Ltd., established in 2011, is a prominent Israeli agricultural cooperative formed through the collaboration of Milouot Corporation and Citrus of Galilee, both significant agricultural cooperatives. The company's ownership expanded in 2017 with the inclusion of Avocado Gal Packing House as a co-owner. The cooperative represents over 70 Israeli farmers, managing more than 9,000 hectares of fields across Israel. This extensive operation enables Galilee Export to oversee the entire process from cultivation to shipping, ensuring the delivery of high-quality produce to clients worldwide.
With an annual turnover exceeding $120 million, Galilee Export has positioned itself as the second-largest exporter of fresh produce in Israel. The company offers a diverse range of products, including avocados, citrus fruits, mangoes, Medjoul dates, pomegranates, Sharon fruits, grapes, sweet peppers, carrots, lychees, peaches, and nectarines. Notably, Galilee Export is recognized as the world's largest exporter of green-skinned avocados. The cooperative's commitment to quality is reflected in its compliance with international standards and its dedication to sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
